Tiny living is not for everyone, but for some, a tiny home in inner city Hobart would be ideal.
The tiny homes offered through this program will be capped at a maximum occupancy of two people, including children.
The rent will be offered at $200 per week, with a two-year lease offered. Rent cannot be increased during the two year lease.
The inner city location means tenants will be in the heart of the city, close to services, employment, education and transport.
Due to the inner city location, no off-street parking is available and parking in the vicinity of the tiny home village will be paid parking during the day.
Again due to the nature of the city, the living quarters and the shared community village, pets are not possible.
The below are examples of the type of housing, not the actual products. More information about the exact homes that will be available for rent will be provided over coming months.
The homes are likely to be available from early 2023 given how busy the building trades are.
